River Valley Counseling, LLC, is a privately owned counseling agency that had its beginnings in the early 90’s. It was formerly owned by Fairfield Medical Center, but on April 1, 2006, River Valley Counseling, LLC, became independently owned and operated. The Lancaster office remains in the same location on the campus of Fairfield Medical Center, and the branch office in Pickerington is conveniently located on Hill Road (Rt. 256).
All our therapists are independently licensed professionals who have years of experience to provide you with high quality counseling services in a wide variety of areas. You can find out more about our therapists under the Our Staff tab.
Our friendly & courteous clerical staff will work with you in scheduling appointments and answering your questions regarding billing and insurance.

Lancaster office hours are as follows:
Monday and Tuesday from 7:30am to 7:00pm
Wednesday and Thursday from 7:30am to 5:00pm
Pickerington office hours are as follows:
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 7:30am to 7:00pm
Wednesday from 7:30am to 5:00pm
Clients are seen on an appointment basis and sessions range from 45 - 50 minutes. An attempt is made to arrange a time which is most convenient for the client.

Fees and Insurances:
Most counseling services are covered by many insurance policies. Our therapists are "in-network" with most major insurance companies providing coverage in this area. If your insurance company is not listed, you can confirm our network participation by calling the phone # on the back of your insurance card.
Fee scale is available for all insured and non-insured services. Our office staff will assist clients in addressing insurance or billing issues.
